Overview
The ICT Services Office of the University of Frontier
Technology, Bangladesh (UFTB) was established in 2018 to streamline and enhance
academic and administrative operations. Key academic activities- such as
student admissions, course registration, and result preparation and
publication- are now conducted entirely online.
The recruitment process for faculty and staff is managed
through an online job portal developed by the ICT Services Office. To further
enhance efficiency, the office has provided Google G Suite and Microsoft Office
365 accounts to all faculty members, officers, staff, and students.
The ICT Services Office manages and maintains all
computer hardware, printers, scanners, photocopiers, CCTV systems, attendance
systems, audio and video conferencing systems, email services, university
software, web portals, and the complete network infrastructure used across
academic buildings, administrative buildings, campuses, hostels, and the Dhaka
guest house.
Through the university’s own data center, ICT-related
services are provided to academic buildings, administrative buildings, city
offices, and student halls. To ensure efficient operations and develop a smart
campus, UFTB is continuously upgrading its ICT infrastructure, system
automation, virtualization, and software development and enhancement processes
under its own supervision.
