Message from Vice-Chancellor

Welcome to the official website of the University of Frontier Technology, Bangladesh (UFTB). It is an immense honor for me to serve as the Vice-Chancellor of UFTB. I hope this website will serve as an informative and efficient platform for students, faculty members, researchers, and other stakeholders.

Established in 2016, UFTB is a specialized government university. Capturing the energy of youth, this university was established to build a knowledge-based, technology-driven society. It has been playing a pivotal role in its education and research to meet the demands of the fourth industrial revolution, foster innovation and develop skilled human resources. The goal of UFTB is not only to achieve professional excellence but also to nurture leadership capable of actively contributing to national development.

UFTB is working as a reliable platform to open new horizons in education and research. We believe that through state-of-the-art learning methods and technology-driven innovation, our students will play significant roles in leading the future. Our academic community is dedicated to contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy through research, inclusive education and innovation.

Initially, the university was planned to be established on 50 acres of land in the Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur district. The necessary steps for land acquisition and the establishment of a permanent campus have already been undertaken.

As the Vice-Chancellor, I am conscious of the opportunities and responsibilities of this unique institution. UFTB serves a diverse and dynamic group of stakeholders including students, faculty, researchers, alumni and national and international partners. With their active participation and support, we are working together to transform UFTB into a world-class institution for advanced education and research.

The path ahead of us is challenging but very promising. The movements of July 2024 have redefined our national aspirations and opened the doors to new possibilities. Now is the time to reimagine our future, embrace innovation and play a role in building a developed, prosperous and technology-driven Bangladesh.
